WEDNESDAY FOREX OUTLOOKS : - RUPEE TRACK OIL AND BOND YIELDS , STERLING TUMBLE , ASIA SUBDUED !!

USDINR

On Wednesday, USDINR likely to commence session with positive note between 74.58 – 74.68 as greenback advance traders positioned themselves ahead of the release of the minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve's pivotal June meeting.


  • On Tuesday, The India 10-year bond, was up 7 bps at 6.17%, its highest since April 16.

  • Indian bond yields jumped as a rally in global crude oil prices raised worries about higher imported inflation, while a selection of papers for this week's bond buyback by the central bank also disappointed investors.

Day Trend: - BUY ON DIP.


INTRADAY RANGE – 73.99 (74.38 – 74.77) 75.16


USDCHF

USDCHF bulls increase their momentum; price may be pushed to the $0.93 resistance level, in which it may increase to $0.94 levels. Should the bears break down the support level at $0.91 level, the support level of $0.90 and $0.89 may be tested.

GBPUSD

The Sterling is expected to dip against greenback going forwards, as on-going Covid concerns add to Britain’s woes over the Northern Ireland Protocol.

OIL PRICE

On Wednesday, Oil mixed early morning in Asia, but remained above the $73 mark, as a production dispute between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates continues. The dispute has stalled efforts by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allies to raise production as the fuel demand outlook brightens.

ASIAN INDICES

  • Hong Kong stocks shed another 0.73% to near six-month lows, while U.S.-listed ride-hailing company Didi Global Inc shed more than 20% in New York.

  • Japan's Nikkei slipped 1.07%.

  • Australian stocks firm 0.75%.

  • Shanghai advance 0.31% , SZSE component +0.94%.

  • Nasdaq futures and S&P 500 futures were both shady.
